Precautions for using AUYAN vehicle-mounted LNG cylinders
First filling of gas cylinder
Cylinders that are filled for the first time, stopped working for more than two weeks, and have been repaired are usually called "hot bottles". Thermal bottles must be filled so that the inner temperature of the cylinder is cooled to the temperature of liquefied natural gas. The following procedures should be followed:
1) Confirm that the gas station or the vehicle with the gas bottle installed is well grounded;
2) Open the protective caps of the low-temperature liquid inlet and air return joint;
3) Visually inspect the valves, joints, and pipes of the gas cylinder to confirm that there are no leaks and no missing parts;
4) Purge the low-temperature liquid inlet and air return joint with dry nitrogen (or wipe it with clean, dry cotton yarn) to ensure that there is no moisture or impurities;
5) If necessary, connect the air return gun and the air return joint, and twist the air return gun 90°;
6) Confirm that the air filling gun and the low temperature liquid inlet match, and connect the air filling gun and the low temperature liquid inlet;
7) Turn on the gas filling station pump and fill the gas bottle with liquid. When the gas filling machine displays about 50-60Kg/min, stop adding liquid (it takes about 5 minutes to add liquid to a small bottle for a single bottle, and about 9 minutes to add liquid to a large bottle);
8) Open the vent valve of the gas cylinder to reduce the pressure to 0.3MPa, and then close the vent valve (if the gas dispenser pressure is about 1.3MPa, venting is not required);
9) Let the cylinder cool for about 10 minutes, during which the pressure of the cylinder will rise;
10) Observe the gas cylinder pressure gauge. If the gas cylinder pressure is high, it may need to be vented before filling. The steps should be in accordance with paragraph 8 of this article;
11) Restart the gas station pump for filling until the gas dispenser automatically stops;
12) Confirm that the vent valve has been closed, and disassemble the air filling gun and return air gun;
13) Cover the low-temperature liquid inlet and air return joint with protective caps.
